Putting People-First Results in a Unique eTMF Solution

One thing that sets Viedoc apart is the fact that the system itself has been developed in close collaboration with the people using it. That's how our journey began two decades ago, and that’s how Viedoc’s evolved to where it is now. The new eTMF solution, simply called Viedoc TMF, is no exception.  

Viedoc TMF is our fully integrated document management system—highly secure and with 24/7 accessibility. Based on industry standards and equipped with permissions, document review, and a customizable structure, Viedoc TMF makes documentation easier, smoother, and above all: faster.

The Viedoc TMF was developed as part of a unique collaboration with LINK Medical, a Northern Europe CRO that operates all around the world. Lina Gaggi, Product Owner at Viedoc, explains;

- We decided to open a gate, and that’s how the whole collaboration started between Viedoc development and the user, LINK Medical.

Clinical trials have a necessary focus on data and processes. However, both LINK Medical and Viedoc agree that Clinical trials are also about people. No amount of technology will eliminate the need for people to contribute, participate and interact. People in many different roles, from trial managers to subjects and patients and more, need to access documentation and data in a system that is as easy for all. 

While developing the Viedoc TMF, users at LINK Medical have been involved in the process the whole way, providing their input on which features to prioritize and how they would like them to work.

- It's very important for the user that the eTMF doesn't feel like a black hole where you upload your documents, save them and never see them again. When a system works really well, like Viedoc does, it's intuitive and user-friendly. You don't need extensive training just to know where to click, says Cathrine Jacobsen, CRA at LINK Medical, who has been collaborating closely with Viedoc in the creation of the eTMF solution.

Lina Gaggi, Product Owner at Viedoc, believes that there are no limits to what LINK and Viedoc can come up with together.

- We're not just building another eTMF. What we are trying to do is simplify management, administration, and archiving of trials. And this will always be needed.
