We are extending our free software license program until 2025-12-31 to support the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Eligible organizations dedicated to combating global health challenges like HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria can now apply for a free Viedoc license to advance their research toward finding cures for some of the world’s most deadly diseases.

Following the positive response to our offer of free licenses for our eClinical suite during the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are extending this program to help accelerate progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Who can apply

Organizations eligible for a free Viedoc license include:

  • Contract research organizations (CROs)
  • Sponsors
  • Academic institutions
  • Universities

Eligibility criteria

To qualify, your research must:

  • Directly address one of the following diseases under SDG 3:
    • HIV/AIDS
    • Tuberculosis
    • Malaria
    • Hepatitis B
    • Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs)
  • Include a study protocol for review by Viedoc. A standard Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be in place before review.
  • Align with the program requirement to produce an editorial piece (e.g., business case, website promotion, joint press release, or other publication) in collaboration with Viedoc.
Additional Notes
  • Only one free license will be granted per organization during this extension period.
  • Organizations that have previously received a free Viedoc license are not eligible for another.

Advancing global health goals

The program, which has supported 11 studies since 2023, focuses on SDG 3.3, targeting the elimination of epidemics like HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, hepatitis B, and neglected tropical diseases. It also aligns with SDG 3.b, emphasizing research and development of vaccines and medicines for diseases affecting developing countries.

Collaboration is essential to effectively addressing these challenges, particularly in resource-limited regions where the economic burden of disease remains high.
