Event recap: Highlights from Scope Summit

That's a wrap! From February 6-9, 2023, Viedoc saw massive success at Scope Summit in Orlando, FL.

Scope is one of the most important meetings for the clinical trials community globally, and we're happy to report that the conference was a victory for us—and we sure had fun doing it. During the conference, our team took the floor to exhibit the Viedoc eClinical suite to over 3,000 attendees. Sverre Bengtsson, Viedoc's Co-Founder and Sr. VP of Strategic Relations, had this to say about the event: 

"We exhibited at Scope for the 5th year in a row, and we sure were busy this year. Not only did we participate with a full force, including seven people from the US and European offices, but we also had a lot of traction at our booth, where we met clients, partners, and prospective clients. We also hosted two events, the cabana reception at the opening evening reception and a VIP SeaWorld dinner. Last but not least, we had a lot of partnering meetings both at and outside the conference. This year's SCOPE was our most successful ever–next year, we are going to double our presence at least." 

Viedocers in attendance included Greg Tullo, Vice President (VP) of Professional Services, Robert McGrath, VP of Business Development, James Muehr, Directors of Business Development, as well as Julie Zanghi, Market Development Executive. From the EU, Sverre Bengtsson and marketing representatives Elin Weiring and Elin Berner-Wik added their expertise to the mix. Thanks to our team's expertise in demonstrating Viedoc's suite, the attendees had plenty of positive feedback for Viedoc. 

Event highlights

On Monday night, we had the pleasure of co-sponsoring the Monday Night Kick-Off Happy Hour, which took place on the pool-side at the conference hotel. It was a lively evening of networking, and we had lots of traffic at our cabana. 

In addition, Viedoc hosted the premier event on Tuesday night, February 7th, a VIP dinner at SeaWorld. The attendees enjoyed a private park walk and later a great buffet dinner alongside an underwater tank of different sea animals–such as turtles, manatees, manta rays, and stingrays, to name a few. 

"We had a great time at SeaWorld! We had a lot of interesting conversations, saw some really cool animals, and the energy in the room was just great," Sverre said.
