World First - EDC integration with UMC, announcement

November 2011 Uppsala, Sweden

As the first EDC system in the world, Viedoc™ is now integrated with the Uppsala Monitoring Centers Hosted Dictionary Services for the WHO Drug Dictionary Enhanced. Now when an investigator enters a medication, it is immediately referred to the UMC online database and automatically coded. Access to the correct version of the dictionary is ensured by your WHO Drug Dictionary Enhanced license key which is entered into Viedoc™ for each trial. As a Viedoc™ partner with the possibility of setting up your own studies you enter your license key to activate this feature in your trial.

This new functionality will be demonstrated live for the first time at the UMC WHO Drug Dictionary User Group Meeting in Tokyo on December 6th, 2011.

If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Henrik Blombergsson, VP Product Development and Partner Support, Pharma Consulting Group in Uppsala.
